The challenge
The team could not reliably extract structured data from site-maintenance forms — their existing IDP tool could not read checkboxes — and had no way to analyze cycle times and delays across hundreds of project activities.
What we did
- Salesforce Document AI with custom schemas plus Apex to auto-populate fields from inspection documents
- Reliable extraction of checkboxes, tables, and field values that prior tooling could not process
- An Agentforce agent with prompt templates and custom actions for natural-language questions about project performance
- Hands-on knowledge transfer so the internal team could extend the solution independently
The results
The proof-of-concept read complex forms accurately, delivered an agent that analyzes cycle times and delays on demand, and gave the leadership team the clarity and code base to keep iterating.
