We work with Cleveland-area manufacturers, financial firms, health organizations and professional-services companies from our St. Louis headquarters, a short flight west.

Abstrakt Solutions is a Salesforce Consulting Partner that serves companies across Northeast Ohio, remotely and on site. Cleveland is one of our focus markets.
Cleveland is a short flight from St. Louis. We work on Central Time, one hour behind Cleveland, and keep calls and working sessions inside Eastern business hours.
Figures cover the Cleveland, OH Metro Area (OH).
Finance and insurance is the largest private sector in the Cleveland metro by output, and manufacturing is second. A global paint and coatings maker keeps its headquarters in Cleveland. Team NEO, the economic development organization for a 14-county Northeast Ohio region that is larger than the metro and includes Akron and Canton, ranks an auto insurer first among the region’s management and professional services employers, with a bank holding company and a welding equipment maker also in its top 10. Team NEO credits a motion-control manufacturer and that welding company among the companies that have helped Northeast Ohio outpace the nation in headquarters employment growth since 1990. A major academic medical center is based on Euclid Avenue.
Team NEO’s key industries include advanced manufacturing, healthcare and biotechnology, financial services, headquarters and professional services, information technology, and microelectronics and semiconductors; because its region reaches well beyond the metro, that list describes Northeast Ohio as a whole. Case Western Reserve University describes itself as among the nation’s top 25 private universities in federal research spending, and its campus houses the 50,000-square-foot think[box] innovation center and the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship. JumpStart, a Cleveland-based nonprofit, backs founders through Software and HealthTech accelerators, venture capital and small-business programs.
Largest private sectors, 2024 GDP share.
With an auto insurer and a bank holding company in Team NEO’s top 10 management and professional services employers, insurers, banks and lenders here need policyholder and client service, agent tools and marketing that passes compliance review.
With coatings, welding and motion-control producers headquartered in the region, manufacturers here need distributor management, quoting and field service tied to ERP.
Large hospital systems and the region’s biotech and health-tech startups need patient, referral and partner engagement built around privacy and clean data.
Team NEO treats headquarters and professional services as a target industry, and firms in it need pursuit pipelines, client history and project handoffs that don’t depend on one partner’s inbox.
Regional target sectors: Advanced Manufacturing, Healthcare & Biotechnology, Financial Services, Headquarters & Professional Services, Information Technology, Microelectronics & Semiconductor (Team NEO)
Long-established companies often run Salesforce orgs built up over many years by different teams. A health check and cleanup usually come before new clouds or AI.
Industrial manufacturers support equipment and distributors across wide territories. Field Service and partner tools only work when they match how technicians and distributors actually operate.
Health and financial organizations with large contact databases often carry invalid records and broken syncs, which undermine compliant marketing until they are fixed.

The architectural patterns we use to integrate Salesforce with NetSuite, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics, and the three we avoid.
Read the full post →Most of these companies sell through distributors and contractors, so the first decision is whether partners get their own portal. Experience Cloud partner sites let distributors register deals, check order status and download product literature, while Sales Cloud tracks sell-in by channel. Manufacturing Cloud adds sales agreements and account-based forecasting for recurring volume. Plan the ERP integration early, because inventory and contract terms usually live there, and choose MuleSoft or a lighter connector based on how many systems are involved.
Hospital deals involve clinical, IT, security and procurement stakeholders, so model buying committees with opportunity contact roles instead of relying on a single champion. Track security questionnaires and pilot milestones as tasks or a custom object so stalled steps are visible. Keep protected health information out of the CRM unless a BAA with Salesforce and Shield are in place. Abstrakt can configure a lean Sales Cloud org that scales once contracts start closing, without rework.
It is a good fit. Financial Services Cloud gives bankers a household or business view that combines deposit, lending and treasury relationships, plus referral tracking between branches and commercial teams. Action plans standardize onboarding for new business accounts. The work that matters most is the core banking integration: decide which balances and products sync, how often, and who owns data corrections. We usually begin with a read-only integration and add write-back only after the data model has proven reliable.
