Get the full playbook →- Discount and deal-desk approvalsWhen a rep builds a quote in Revenue Cloud that exceeds a discount threshold or includes non-standard terms, Advanced Approvals routes it to the deal desk and, if needed, the controller. Approvers see margin impact on the quote itself. Every decision is time-stamped, which gives finance a clear record of who authorized each exception.
- Booked order handoffOnce a contract is signed, an order is activated in Salesforce and an integration, often built on MuleSoft, sends the customer, products, amounts, and dates to the ERP. Finance reviews a daily exception report of orders that failed validation, so missing tax codes or mismatched billing accounts get fixed before invoicing.
