Figures cover the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach, FL Metro Area (FL). Sources are listed at the bottom of this page.

South Florida has the fourth-highest number of business establishments of the 100 metros we track, a sign of how many small and mid-sized companies operate here. Wholesale trade is almost as large as professional services, reflecting Miami’s role as a trade gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean: FedEx runs its Latin America and Caribbean headquarters here, American Airlines operates a major hub at Miami International, and the Miami-Dade Beacon Council names Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line in its hospitality cluster.

The Beacon Council, which covers Miami-Dade County, targets aviation and aerospace, trade and logistics, finance, technology, life sciences and healthcare, and creative industries. It counts about 2,500 startups and more than 20 unicorns in Miami’s tech ecosystem, supported by organizations such as the Miami-Dade Innovation Authority, Refresh Miami and Endeavor Miami, with IT management company Kaseya among the region’s leading tech firms.

Common Challenges

Salesforce problems we expect to see here.

Based on the industry mix above and our work in those industries, not on inside knowledge of any Miami company.

Cross-border customers

Companies serving Latin America need multi-currency, multi-language processes and data models that reflect how international accounts are actually managed.

Hospitality and guest service

Travel and hospitality businesses need service at volume across channels, where routing and knowledge matter as much as sales.

Growing past starter tools

A large base of fast-growing small and mid-sized firms means many teams outgrowing spreadsheets and lighter CRMs at the same time.

FAQ

Salesforce consulting in Miami: questions.

Do you have an office in Miami?

No. Our only office is in St. Louis. We serve South Florida clients remotely and travel for workshops, go-lives and training when that helps the project.

Do you work with Broward and Palm Beach companies?

Yes. We work with companies across South Florida, including Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Can Salesforce handle international customers and currencies?

Yes. Salesforce supports multiple currencies and languages; the design work is in setting up territories, pricing and reporting so international accounts are managed the way your team actually works.
